At SMP, the health and safety of our residents, team members, and communities always come first. It is this belief that continues to guide our actions as we navigate the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. SMP is closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and other government entities in real-time to inform operational decisions that safeguard the well-being of our residents and team members. At this time, we have implemented numerous initiatives at our properties in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, including but not limited to: 

 

Community Tours

For the health and well-being of our employees, residents, and future residents, our apartment tours will be virtual. We’re excited to show off our communities through online tours, videos, and photos. We’re here for you and want to continue to help you find the perfect apartment.

Office Hours

Our virtual offices are open and we’re ready to help you! While our physical offices may be closed, please feel free to call, email, or visit our website.

Amenity Spaces

We love spending time with our neighbors but, for now, we’re all practicing social distancing for the health of our community.
Our amenity spaces are taking a break too and will be back soon.

Resident Events

Our resident events have gone social… and virtual! We’re working hard to creatively maintain a social connection for you.

Communication

Remember to check your resident portal, app and email for updates from your local teams. We are temporarily deferring non-emergency maintenance requests so we can practice the art of social distancing, keeping us all a little more safe and healthy. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions, concerns, or just to say “hi”. We hope everyone uses this time to reconnect with loved ones and recharge their energy. Remember, we’re all in this together and we can’t wait to reconvene for a brighter future.

 

All of our property operations have universal guidance along with specific protocols in place to prepare for a wide range of potential scenarios, including residents who may be diagnosed with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and for those who are self-quarantining. We recognize that this is a time of uncertainty and, now more than ever, it is important to have clear communication in place to ensure that information is shared in an effective and timely manner. To this end, SMP is committed to providing additional updates as further information is made available.
